As temps begin to turn, we are thinking about the things that will warm up the fall season ahead.

BODUM BISTRO ELECTRIC KETTLE
Over decades, several types of kettles have cycled on and off the kitchen counter. We’re looking now no further, having landed on this all-time classic. It comes in a vast range of capacities & is stocked in black, red or off white. Easy to fill, easy to descale and this size (17oz) is easy to handle and comes in at under $30. And the font is a 1980s nostalgia dream.
BY TERRY BAUME DE ROSE LIP CARE
Lip conditioning is a year round sport but in colder & dryer temps the game changes a bit. There are others that top the list that are frankly harder to get your hands on. So, this baume is on this list since it checks many boxes (long lasting, not fragrant, very softening) and is widely available.
GRETHER’S PASTILLES
Premium Swiss pastilles “soothe the throat, protect the voice, and relieve dryness anytime”. Zitomer’s stocks them in Blackcurrant but we’re curious to try the Elderflower flavor.
LAS GOTAS CANDLEHOLDER
This object of beauty would warm up any room. Spotted at The Future Perfect, Alana Burn’s made-to-order sconce is crafted from a combination of brass, sterling silver and Lions Paw shell.
RA CLEANSING OIL
It’s really unusual to find an oil cleanser that has the exfoliating properties of beta hydroxy acid and salicylic acid. It is anti-bacterial, encourages cell turnover, heals the skin, and improves blood circulation while also moisturizing with a range of nourishing oils and vitamin E. Truly an all-in-one.
ORTIGIA TINS
Ortigia guest soaps come in the most charming tins that have tons of uses long after the bar of soap is gone — we use them to house everything from coins for the meter to ear buds and hair ties. Or you can skip the soap and order a pack of 5 glass plates which are handy to have as an emergency hostess gift.
BONA DRAG SANDALS
These flip flops are an upgrade from the standard-issue Havaianas. We especially like this demin colorway and will wear them indoors as house slippers this fall.
